Bearings are key components of major national technical equipment. Since the development of my country's bearing industry cannot keep up, it strongly spurs the import of bearings. For example, in the large-scale development of high-speed railways, all the bearings for EMUs with a speed of more than 200 kilometers per hour are imported. At present, the domestic can meet the requirements of only about 160 kilometers of locomotive bearings.
Although a small number of domestic companies can manufacture EMU bearings with a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, the relevant procurement departments will still use imported components. The prospects of my country's high-end bearing field are worrying.
