The UCFC series round flange unit has a spigot in the rear of the casting that fits into a suitably toleranced hole in the mounting plate, and the bearing unit that combines a bearing and a bearing box with a round flange and a spigot joint on the mounting surface. Four-bolt units installed where concentricity is required. Two set screws 120° apart in inner ring lock unit securely to shaft.

The 4-bolt piloted flange bearing UCFC units has a wide inner ring for moderate radial loads and light thrust or combination loads. This bearing unit has a brass grease fitting on the housings outer surface for reapplying lubricant. It also comes with a closed end in applications with high dust levels or splashes of liquid, such as conveyors or steel mills.
