Tapered roller bearings 32000 Series belong to the separated type bearings, the inner and outer rings of the bearings have conical row raceways, and rollers to handle simultaneous radial and thrust loads. Their axial load carrying capacity is directly related to the contact angle of the rollers and raceway shaft. They are available in single-row design. The individual parts of tapered roller bearings are commonly sold separately as cups and cones. Cones contain the roller assembly and inner ring while cups include the outer ring. Full assembly units contain both the cup and cone.

It is usually fitted as one of an opposing pair. During equipment assembly, single-row bearings can be set to the required clearance (end play) or preload condition to optimize performance.It has tapered inner and outer ring raceways between which tapered rollers are arranged. The rollers are guided by the flange of the inner ring. The projection lines of all the tapered surfaces meet at a common point on the bearing axis.
