SBPP pressed steel pillow block bearing has combination of a light duty set screw insert spherical ball bearing and pressed steel pillow block housing. The bearing housing is made of two pieces pressed steel plates of nap-together design. The stamped steel housing has anti-corrosion function. The spherical bearing inside the housing is made of bearing steel and also has a certain anti-corrosion function. Because of the spherical outer surface of the bearing, misalignment can be compensated at the shaft. Additionally, the rubber seals are provided on both sides of the bearing to keep dust from entering into the bearing body.

The pressed steel stand-up housing is lighter in weight and smaller in size, comparing to the cast iron one. The SBPP series is the smallest type among the stand-up type housing, however, it can only be applied in machinery applications with low rotating speed or light load. Designed for simple applications with limited loads and speeds, the SBPP unit provides a simple and effective bearing arrangement that accommodates moderate misalignment of mounting tolerances and is easy to mount on the associated equipment.

Application

The pillow block bearings are ideal for use as simple bearings in agricultural machinery, conveyor systems, construction machines etc.
