The light duty radial insert bearing SB type is an insert bearing with a locking device. There are usually two locking devices on the bearing with an angle of 120°. When mounted on a shaft, it is mounted on the shaft by a locking device and has a good fixing effect, but the bearing can only be used in low vibration environments.

For this series, there are two types available, spherical (SB) and cylindrical (CSB). The main dimensions for SB set screw insert bearing is according to DIN 626-1, which is designed for high radial and low axial loads. For this model, fixing of the inner ring onto a shaft is possible and it has good compensation of misalignment in case of the usage in corresponding housings.

For set screw SB insert bearing series, it has a version with suffix G, the suffix G means that the SB insert is factory lubricated with grease and it is able to be regreased as this style has grease access hole in the outer ring.

The SB type insert bearings are widely used in shaft guidance on conveyors, road building equipment, crushers, textile machinery, ceramic machinery, and other fields.
