SAP series pillow block bearing has combination of a light duty eccentric collar insert bearing with slinger seal design and normal duty cast iron pillow block housing with anti-rotation device.The self-aligning design compensates for alignment errors and the flexing of the shaft.

SAP pillow block bearing unit is a mounted bearing combined with a one-piece 2-bolt cast iron housing. Each side of the housing has an ear which is reinforced and with a mounting bolt on it. The spherical bearing inside the case is a kind of rolling ball bearing, usually made of bearing steel material. The bottom of the housing is usually solid or hollow types. The bearing combination can be directly mounted to the body of machines by two bolts. It has a self-aligning function, which can be used to replenish grease. The installation and use of this bearing unit is simple.

SAP series pillow block bearing units are light duty, with a narrow inner ring and a set screw lock to secure the shaft. The inner bore diameter ranges from 1/2 inch to 2 inches.
