F6800 series deep groove ball bearing is a radial ball bearing with a flange featured on one side of the outer ring surface. With a flange, it is easier to identify the axis direction for housing assembly. Designed as metric bearings, our flanged deep groove ball bearings follow ISO standards and are dimensionally interchangeable with competitor metric products.

Besides the open types flanged radial deep groove ball bearings, F6800 series bearings with shields or seals are also available and provide protection from contamination and grease leakage. Flange type bearings are available for improved housing fits. Flanged bearings provide solid mounting for good

axial control and eliminate the need for housing shoulders or shoulder rings. Housings can be through-bored to reduce manufacturing costs and simplify assembly. When flanged bearings are used, the housing mounting surfaces must be accurately machined to properly position and support the bearings.

With its wide dimension scope, the deep groove ball bearing is the most commonly used rolling bearing and is capable of simultaneously receiving a radial load and bidirectional axial load to a certain extent. They can operate at high speeds and can carry radial and (limited) axial loads.
