Horizontal Shaft Support SHF Series is a metric assembly for end or intermittent support, to position the shaft on which the bushing bearing slides smoothly. The linear shaft uses the shaft mount, so it is lightly loaded and does not require a slight shaft deflection. The shafts are usually mounted in pairs, allowing the carriage or table (with mounted bearings or bushings) to slide back and forth. The shaft must be aligned parallel to each other or the carriage will not run smoothly.

The SHF horizontal shaft support adopts the butterfly design, having a beautiful shape. It can be put into use only when it is well fixed through the bolt hole on both ends by the user. The horizontal shaft support is divided into a number of models from SHF3 to SHF60. The shaft matches the two figures at the end of the model. Therefore, the user can select the right one based on their specific usage requirements.

Unlike the shaft support rails, the SHF horizontal shaft support do not allow the open ball bushing bearings to pass longitudinally. The shaft support block can clamp the shaft without the use of bolts to maintain the position of the shaft. It is recommended to shimming high-precision applications to eliminate the effects of variations in the surface of the pedestal or manufacturing tolerances between supports.
