They are available in a industrial grade, produced to ABEC 1 classification and feature dual-lip non-contact double seals (2RS) or metal shields (ZZ). For high precision, electric motor applications, the metric ball bearings of 600 miniature series are sometimes available in a premium grade, produced to ABEC 3 classification and feature metal shields (ZZ).

The 600 series miniature single row deep groove ball bearings are available with bore sizes that range from just 2mm up to 9mm. Therefore, they are suitable for relatively thin shafts and axis as well as for small space requirements.
