Thrust ball bearings 51200 series consist of three separable parts---the shaft washer, the housing washer and the ball with cage assembly. Single direction 51200 series has a ball and cage assembly sandwiched between the ground ball track of the housing washer and the ground ball track of the shaft washer, contacting both rings at a 90 degrees angle. These bearings are generally used in low speed applications and must be lubricated at installation withe the appropriate grease or oil.

Light duty 51200 types ball bearings are single direction type bearings, they can not carry radial loads but axial loads in one direction, because the axial loads are well distributed on each ball, and the loading capacity is higher, but the temperature is high while working, and their limiting speed is lower.

For thrust ball bearings, there are several symbols when describing the models, for example, TN refers to the standard reinforced polyamide, M means machined brass cage, roller guided, and F stands for machined steel or special cast iron cage.

Application
Thrust ball bearings are suitable for pumps, valves, machine spindles, rotary tables, drilling heads, crane hooks, vertical centrifuge, jack, low speed reducer and so on.
