51400 Series Thrust Ball Bearings are separable bearings. It consists of a shaft washer, a housing washer and a ball set with cage. The shaft ring and the seat ring can be separated from the cage and the components of the steel ball. Our thrust bearings are made of high quality bearing steel, high performance grease and high grade steel balls. It guaranteed superior bearing performance and long life for our bearing quality.

 Thrust ball bearings can be applied for high axial loads and low to medium speeds. However, they cannot take radial loads. They are sensitive to angular deflection and characterized by extremely rigid guidance in the axial direction. Depending on speed, a minimum load is necessary to avoid sliding movements of the ball set, which are caused by centrifugal forces. To compensate for misalignments of the shaft, bearings with spherical housing washers and support washers should be used.

Application

The use of thrust ball bearings: only suitable for parts with a low axial load and low speed, such as crane hooks, vertical pumps, vertical centrifuges, jacks, low speed reducers, etc. The shaft ring, race and rolling element of the bearing are separated and can be assembled and disassembled separately.
