Rod end joint bearing NOS series is a lubrication-free rod end that is basically the same as the female-screw type model NHS...T, but has a male thread on the holder end. It has highly wear-resisting PTFE liner and is well made with low clearance, suitable for precision applications.
Spherical rod ends, also known as heim joints, allow pivoting in the housing to help compensate for misalignment in industrial applications. The rod ends are mainly composed of an inner ring with an inner spherical surface and an outer ring with an inner spherical surface. According to its different types and structures, it can bear radial load, axial load or combined load in both radial and axial directions.Since the outer surface of the inner ring is lined with composite materials, the bearing can generate self-lubrication in operation.
NOS joint bearing belongs to three-piece bearing, which features a race swaged around the ball swivel to provide low friction and smooth operation. To further reduce wear and friction, a PTFE liner of woven fabric can be chemically bonded to the race’s inner diameter.
