The UKPA pillow block bearing consists of UK series radial insert sealed ball bearing units with spherical outer surface and a radial insert ball bearing housing made of cast iron. The fixing of the shaft is carried out by screws on the inner ring.

This UKPA series bearing units are self-aligning, due to their spherically-designed bearing seat. The mounted insert allows an angular movement in all directions. That is the reason why shaft misalignment is compensated up to a certain degree. This self -alignment should only be necessary once, and must not occur permanently in operation.

The insert bearing UK series (spherical outer ring) is relubricatable, and seals on both sides with additional slingers. It’s also available with triple seals. Additionally, the inner ring with tapered bore is for mounting of adapter sleeve, or fixing to shaft by using adapter sleeve.     

Our ball bearing units are filled with the required amount of grease at the factory. Thus additional lubrication during assembly is not necessary.

Application

This mounted bearing is used in food and beverage manufacturing, textile industry and many other industrial manufacturing. It’s also applied to belt drives connecting motors and pumps, conveyor belt roller, rolling mills, ventilation systems, paper machines etc.
