Rod ends GAR...C series consist of an eye-shaped head with integral shank that forms a housing for a spherical plain bearing. As a rule, this rod end series is available with left or right-hand male (external) threads. And the rod ends with a threaded shank with a right-hand thread as standard, if in a left-hand thread, they are identified by the designation prefix L. The GAR...C series is correspond with GIR...C except the thread species, so they can match each other in operating.

Rod end bearings attach to rods and shafts via a female housing with internal threads. Right-handed threads tighten in a clockwise direction and are the most commonly used type of thread. Left-handed threads tighten in a counterclockwise direction and must match the mating part.

Maintenance-free rod ends GAR...C types can support radial loads in a tensile or compressive direction. They are particularly suitable for slow movements with small to moderate swivel angles and unilateral loads.
