Self aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls, a common sphered raceway in the outer ring and two deep uninterrupted raceway grooves in the inner ring. They are available open or sealed. 

The center of curvature of the outer raceway surface is identical to the center of the bearing, so it has the same self-aligning function as the self aligning ball bearing.

When the shaft and outer casing are deflected, they can be adjusted automatically without increasing the bearing load. Spherical ball bearings can withstand both radial and axial loads in both directions. In addition to its large radial load capacity, it is suitable for heavy load and impact loads. The inner ring inner diameter has a tapered bore bearing and can be mounted directly. The cylindrical shaft can also be mounted with the adapter sleeve and removal cylinder.

The cage uses steel stamping cage, polyamide forming cage and copper alloy cage.

In addition to withstanding large radial loads, this bearing has a self-aligning outer ring raceway that is spherical. Despite the shaft being bent or tilted, the bearing can still function if the center line of the inner ring is inclined by no more than 1° to 2.5° relative to the center line of the outer ring.

The inner diameter of the customized self-aligning ball bearing is cylindrical or conical. The conical inner bore has a taper of 1:12 or 1:30.
