Inch dimension shaft sizes are extremely common in the North American market. Our Bearing meets this demand with its R series inch size single row deep groove radial ball bearings. Featuring the same high-quality construction as our other single row deep groove ball bearings series, they are manufactured to ISO9001 standards with the inner ring, outer ring and balls processed from vacuum degassed bearing steel. Before assembly, these components are heat treat hardened to produce a durable wear surface on the balls and ball tracks. The ball retainers and shields are produced from cold rolled steel.

The Conrad construction of these bearings enables them to accept thrust as well as radial load. Their ball complement and selection of retainers also allows them to work well in high-speed applications. R series bearings are available in open, sealed and shielded configurations. Sealed and shielded bearings may be slightly wider as shown in the table. This series is also available in stainless steel material.

Additionally, the model R4A refers to the single row small inch size deep groove ball bearing with increased O.D. and width.
