Product overview Printing machine thrust bearing thrust cylindrical roller bearing ZARA ZARI0001837E0001837A thrust needle roller bearing ZAXA00018380 angular contact ball bearing single row 72..-BE-2RS00018675 thrust angular contact ball bearing ZKLF...-2RS. The characteristics of the thrust bearing of the printing press are arranged in coordination with the floating bearing, and the thrust bearing is used to provide axial support for the main cylinder. Able to withstand bidirectional loads, usually with zero clearance. According to the requirements of the printing machine, thrust cylindrical roller bearings, thrust needle roller bearings or angular contact ball bearings can be selected. Other information ■ For more detailed information, please refer to catalogue HR 1. Rolling Bearing Thrust Cylindrical Roller Bearing, Thrust Needle Roller Bearing Thrust roller bearing consists of thrust cage and needle roller or cylindrical roller, seat ring GS, shaft washer WS and an external Or internally centered intermediate washer ZS, Figure 1. The seat ring can be centered externally, and the shaft ring can be centered internally. Depending on the design, they can have a radial relative displacement s, see dimension table. The outer surface of the shaft washer and the seat was ground. Preloading In some applications, a ready-to-install bearing unit with a pre-adjusted inner ring can be provided. Bearing units designed with pre-adjusted inner rings have zero clearance. The application of thrust bearings is particularly suitable for bearing axial forces in the main roller bearing arrangement. They have extremely high axial stiffness and can only withstand bidirectional axial forces. Angular contact ball bearings Single row angular contact ball bearings comply with DIN 628-1 and have an open and sealed design, Figure 2. The universal matching design has the suffix UL or UO, and can be arranged in an X-shaped or O-shaped configuration, see the table on page 104. Preload In printing machinery, angular contact ball bearings are usually designed with zero clearance or light preload, and 72..-B series angular contact ball bearings are preferred. Radial and axial load carrying capacity Single row angular contact ball bearings can withstand one-way axial force and larger radial force. It needs another bearing installed symmetrically with it to adjust the axial direction. The axial load carrying capacity depends on the contact angle. That is, the greater the contact angle, the greater the axial load that the bearing can withstand. With 4 contact angles, these bearings can withstand larger axial loads. Due to its low friction and high axial rigidity, matched single row angular contact ball bearings are particularly suitable for use as thrust bearings in the main cylinder of a printing press. Thrust angular contact ball bearing ZKLF thrust angular contact ball bearing is a self-retaining structure. The contact angle of double row angular contact ball bearing is 6 in an O-shaped arrangement, as shown in Figure 3. The inner ring can be adjusted to ensure zero clearance. The contact angle of 6 ensures high axial rigidity. The thick-walled outer ring allows it to be bolted directly to the adjacent structure. Make installation extremely simple. Thrust angular contact ball bearings are high-precision bearings: ■ Integral thick-walled outer ring with lubrication holes and mounting holes ■ Double inner ring with ball and cage assembly ■ Lip seal or gap seal. Figure 3 Bidirectional thrust angular contact ball bearing. Printing machine thrust bearing seals Printing machine thrust bearings can be sealed by seals installed in adjacent structures, or angular contact ball bearings with the suffix 2RS, with lip seals on both sides. The RS contact seal is used to prevent the intrusion of dust, pollutants and water vapor. Lubrication In some cases, thrust cylindrical roller bearings and thrust needle roller bearings can be relubricated through the inner ring or intermediate washer. Angular contact ball bearings or thrust angular contact ball bearings with double-sided lip seals are filled with high-quality grease and can be lubricated for life. Under certain application conditions, relubrication is required. In this case, it is appropriate to choose Arcanol MULTITOP grease. Suffixes of existing designs: please see the table below. The existing design suffix indicates the design of UL universal matching bearings. The bearing pairs of O-type or X-type arrangements have light preload and standard UO universal matching bearings. The bearing pairs of O-type or X-type arrangements have zero clearance. Design and Safety Guidelines The entire surface of the thrust bearing washer designed for adjacent parts must be fully supported. The adjacent shoulders must be rigid, flat and perpendicular to the axis of rotation. For the geometric tolerances of precision thrust bearings DIN 620-3 (ISO 199), see page 28.
