The spherical roller bearing 22200 series is the most common type of spherical roller bearing and has a wide range of applications. Spherical roller bearings are divided into: cylindrical inner bore and taper inner bore. The tapered inner bore has a 1:12 rear spherical roller bearing with code K and a 1:30 rear spherical roller bearing with code K30. When such a bearing is matched with a conical shaft, the inner ring moves axially to adjust the radial clearance of the bearing.

Spherical roller bearings of the 22200 type have smaller dimensions than the 21300 and 22300 series spherical roller bearings with the same inside diameter. They weigh less than half of a spherical roller bearing of the massive 323 series, but are not as resilient.

According to the different cages used in 22200 types, it can be divided into C type, CA type and MB type. C type refers to steel cage with two stamped window-type steel cages, an inner ring without flanges and a floating guide ring centered on the inner ring. CA type means machined brass cage with retaining flanges on the inner ring, guide ring centred on the inner ring. While MB type is split brass cage, centered on the inner ring. There are hard board in the center and two boards in the outer sides.

In order to improve the lubrication performance of the bearing, the outer ring of the bearing has an annular oil groove and is drilled with three oil holes evenly distributed, and the rear code is W33.

The 22200 series spherical roller bearing mainly uses papermaking machinery, speed reducer, railway vehicle axles, printing machinery, woodworking machinery, various industrial speed reducers, etc.
