Strength of various materials of bearing housing for FYH rolling bearing with block

by:JNSN     2022-03-17
FYH bearing housing for rolling bearing with block can be used under normal conditions by selecting high-quality materials and high-strength design suitable for bearing load capacity. However, when a high-load shock load is applied during low-speed rotation, or in applications requiring special safety, it is necessary to study the strength of the bearing housing in advance. Bearing boxes are designed in various shapes for various purposes, but the damage strength is also different if the direction of the load is different. Therefore, while studying the strength of the bearing housing, it is necessary to fully study the mounting direction of the bearing housing. At the same time, depending on the direction and magnitude of the load, countermeasures such as installing a stopper supporting the bearing housing are also required. In addition, the rigidity of the base and the flatness of the mounting surface also affect the strength of the FYH bearing housing. However, in principle, regarding the load of the rolling bearing with a block, even if the strength of the bearing housing can be satisfied, it is recommended to study from the result of bearing life calculation. The strength of cast iron bearing housings Mechanical parts made of gray cast iron have many excellent properties, but they have the disadvantage of being brittle against shock loads. Therefore, the size and direction properties of the load must be fully considered during use. The allowable load of the gray cast iron bearing housing is obtained by taking the value of the static failure strength of the bearing housing into consideration with the safety factor. The safety factor of gray iron castings for load is shown in Table 8.1. The approximate values u200bu200bof static failure strength of vertical seat, flange type and slider seat bearing housings are shown in Figure 8.1 to Figure 8.8. Strength of cast steel bearing housings When high strength is required for bearing housings for rolling bearings with blocks, cast steel bearing housings with high breaking strength and impact resistance can be selected. FYH cast steel vertical housings (P200 sc, P300sc) have formed a series. The allowable load of the cast steel bearing housing is obtained by taking the static failure strength of the bearing housing into consideration with the safety factor. The safety factor for steel casting loads is shown in Table 8.2. Approximate values u200bu200bof static failure strength for cast steel vertical housings are shown in Figure 8.2. The strength of the steel plate bearing box The steel plate bearing box is precision stamped and has high rigidity, but it will deform greatly until it is subjected to a load until it is destroyed. Therefore, the allowable load of the steel plate bearing housing must be ensured that deformation of the bearing housing due to the load does not hinder practical use. The allowable loads for bearing housings made of steel plates are shown in Table 8.3. Table 8.3 Allowable load of steel plate bearing housing (recommended) Direction of load The allowable radial load of steel plate bearing housing is approximately 1/6 of the radial basic dynamic load rating (Cr) of the bearing. The axial direction is about 1/18 of the radial basic dynamic load rating (Cr) of the bearing. Strength of stainless steel bearing housing: FYH has realized the serialization of stainless steel bearing housing (SP200H1, SF200H1, SFL200H1). The allowable load of the stainless steel bearing housing is obtained by taking the value of the static failure strength of the bearing housing into consideration with the safety factor. Table 8.4 shows the safety factor of stainless steel parts against load; the approximate values u200bu200bof static failure strength of stainless steel bearing housings apply to P200 in Figure 8.1, F200 in Figure 8.6, and FL200 in Figure 8.7. The safety factor of stainless steel parts is the nature of the load. The safety factor of stainless steel parts is static load 3, vibration, 5, and 10. The strength of the purification bearing box: the material of the bearing box for the purification series is zinc alloy die-casting, which will deform greatly from the load-bearing to the destruction. The safety factor of zinc alloy die castings against load is shown in Table 8.5; the approximate values u200bu200bof static failure strength of bearing housings made of zinc alloy castings are shown in Figures 8.9 and 8.10.
