Operating conditions of FAG spherical roller bearings for vibrating machinery in vibrating machinery Vibrating screens used for screening materials (separating solid materials according to particle size) and other vibrating machinery such as road rollers and band saws are all equipment that is subject to high stress. The rolling bearings installed in the exciter units of these equipment must be able to withstand heavy loads, high speeds, as well as acceleration and centrifugal forces. Most of these applications work in very harsh environments such as pollution and humidity. FAG's special spherical roller bearings have been developed for vibrating mechanical conditions and have achieved great success in practical applications. In particular, the cage of the rolling bearing must be able to withstand the forces generated by high radial accelerations. In more severe conditions, it may also be subjected to the forces generated by the axial acceleration. The rotation of the eccentric block will cause deflection of the rotating shaft and relative sliding within the bearing. This increases friction, which results in higher bearing operating temperatures. The dynamic self-aligning capability of special spherical roller bearings can reach 0.15. For greater alignment capabilities, please contact the Schaeffler Group Industrial Application Engineers. Basic Design of FAG Special Spherical Roller Bearings The FAG Special Spherical Roller Bearings series for vibrating machinery is 223, and its main dimensions conform to E DIN 616: 1995-01 and ISO 15 standards. For the special stresses that arise in vibrating machinery, FAG offers special spherical roller bearings with the suffix T41A or T41D, which are described in section 1.5. By maximizing the use of the bearing cross section, X-life spherical roller bearings of the 223-E1 series have a very high load carrying capacity. For vibratory machinery, spherical roller bearings in the X-life series are currently available with an inner diameter of up to 220 mm. 1.2.1 X-life 223..-E1-T41A(D) series spherical roller bearings E1 designed FAG spherical roller bearings have no ribs on the inner ring and have very high load capacity. FAG's special bearing series 223..-E1 with the suffix T41A or T41D designed for vibrating machines also has this advantage, see figure 1. This is the new FAG standard design for bearings with bore diameters from 40 mm to 150 mm (bore series 08 to 30). Bearings of the 223..-E1-T41A (D) series from X-life have been very successful in a large number of practical applications. The bearing adopts a two-piece window-shaped steel cage, which is supported on the outer ring by an integral guide ring. All cage parts are specially case hardened. FAG Spherical Roller Bearings for Vibration Machinery Operating Conditions Basic Design of FAG Special Spherical Roller Bearings 21: X-life Design 223..-E1-T41A(D) and 223..-E1-JPAT41A for Vibration Machinery Spherical Roller Bearings 1.2.2 X-life 223..-E1-JPA- T41A series Spherical Roller Bearings with bore dimensions 160 mm 220 mm (bore series 32 to 44) are currently in the design shown in Figure 1 , these bearings also meet the X-life performance standard (see 1.2.1). In larger size bearings, the stamped steel cage is marked with the suffix JPA. Tapered bore bearings In special cases such as band saws, bearings with tapered bores (taper 1:12) can also be used. The ordering numbers are as follows: 223..-E1-K-T41A and 223..-E1-K-JPA-T41A (160mm inner diameter) bearings with coated inner holes in order to reduce or prevent the friction between the bearing inner hole and the shaft Friction corrosion, special spherical roller bearings with cylindrical bore and Durotect CK coating are available from FAG. This coating ensures that the bearing can still float between the bore and the shaft (non-locating bearings) after long periods of operation to accommodate temperature changes. The dimensions and tolerances of bearings with coated inner holes are the same as those of standard bearings used in FAG vibrating machinery, and can be replaced with each other. Durotect CK coating is standard for 22317-E1-T41D to 22330-E1-T41D. Further information can be found in our publication PPD (FAG Special Spherical Roller Bearings with Durotect CK Coating Bore). Bearings with bore sizes outside of the above ranges require a J24BA suffix if the Durotect CK coating is required. Ordering example: Bearing bore with Durotect CK coating, size in standard range: 22320-E1-T41D. Ordering example: Bearing bore with Durotect CK coating, size out of standard range: 22316-E1-J24BA-T41A. 1.5 T41A (T41D) suffix description FAG spherical roller bearings for vibration machinery are manufactured according to the standard T41A (D), fully considering the special requirements of the application conditions, and make special requirements for inner ring, outer ring tolerance and radial clearance . Other tolerance classes are PN according to DIN 620. Nominal outer diameter inner ring 1.5.1 Tolerances of bearing inner and outer diameters T41A(D) The defined inner diameter tolerance is the upper half of the normal tolerance zone. For outer diameter tolerances, it is limited to the middle half of the normal tolerance zone. For tapered bore bearings, the reduced tolerance zone range applies only to the outer diameter. The tolerance values u200bu200bare shown in Figure 2. Through these measures, when the shaft tolerance is g6 or f6, the inner ring achieves a reliable clearance fit, and when the bearing seat tolerance is P6, the outer ring achieves a reliable interference fit. A shaft tolerance of f6 is recommended when the inner ring is coated. The inner ring mainly bears point loads, and the outer ring bears circumferential loads. For geometrical tolerances of bearing mating surfaces, see page 4.
