Bearings are an important component in contemporary machinery, and their quality is related to the operation of the entire equipment. This article introduces the installation, maintenance, disassembly and common problems of bearings, which is expected to be helpful to everyone's production. Bearing installation The installation of the bearing directly affects the accuracy, life and performance. Therefore, the design and assembly aspects of the bearing installation should be fully studied, and the following operating specifications should be carried out: (1) Clean the bearing and bearing related parts; (2) Search Check the dimensions and finishing conditions of the related components; (3) Installation (just open the bearing package just before installation); (4) Check after the bearing is installed; (5) Provide lubricant. Ordinary grease lubrication, no cleaning, direct filling with grease. Lubricating oil does not need to be cleaned in general. However, bearings for instruments or high-speed use should be cleaned with clean oil to remove the rust inhibitor coated on the bearings. Bearings with rust inhibitor removed are easy to rust, so they should not be left unattended. Furthermore, bearings that have been sealed with grease can be used directly without cleaning. The installation method of the bearing varies depending on the bearing structure, coordination and other conditions. Generally speaking, since most of the shafts rotate, the inner ring needs an interference fit. Cylindrical bore bearings are usually pressed in by a press, or by a shrink-fit method. For tapered holes, install it directly on the tapered shaft, or install it with a sleeve. 01. Installation of cylindrical bore bearings (1) Press-in method with a press The method of press-in is widely used for small bearings. Put the spacer into the inner ring, and use a press to press the inner ring quietly until it is in close contact with the shaft shoulder. Putting the pad on the outer ring and installing the inner ring will cause indentation and crushing on the raceway, so it is not allowed. When driving, you can apply oil on the mating surface in advance. As a last resort, use a hammer to hit the installation site, and place a pad on the inner ring. This method is only limited to the case of small interference, and cannot be used for large interference, or medium and large bearings. For non-separable bearings such as deep groove ball bearings, where the inner ring and outer ring need to be installed with an interference amount, use a spacer pad, and use a screw or oil pressure to press the inner and outer rings at the same time. The outer ring of the self-aligning ball bearing is easy to be skewed, even if it is not an interference fit, it should be installed with a spacer. For separable bearings such as cylindrical roller bearings and tapered roller bearings, the inner ring and outer ring can be installed on the shaft and the outer casing respectively. When the separately installed inner and outer rings are connected, the link is stable and stable. Close the two so that the center of the two does not deviate, and the forced pressing in will cause the raceway surface to be stuck. (2) The method of shrinking large bearings requires a very large force when pressing in, so it is very difficult to press in. Therefore, heating the bearing in oil to stretch it, and then installing it on the shaft, is widely used. Using this method, the operation can be realized in a short time without adding improper force to the bearing. The heating temperature of the bearing is based on the bearing size and the required interference. The precautions related to the hot camouflage industry are as follows: (a) Do not heat the bearing above 120°C; (b) In order to prevent the bearing from directly touching the bottom of the oil tank, consider placing the bearing on a metal mesh table, or hoisting the bearing; ( c) Heat the bearing to 20°C-30°C higher than the required temperature, so that the inner ring will not become cold during driving, which is difficult to install; (d) After installation, the bearing cools down and shrinks in the width direction, so use the shaft Nuts, or other suitable methods, are tightened to prevent cracks between the inner ring and the bearing shoulder.
