The function of lubricating grease is mainly determined by the base oil. The ordinary low-viscosity base oil is suitable for low temperature and high speed, and the high-viscosity base oil is suitable for high temperature and high load. The thickener is also related to the lubricating function, and the water resistance of the thickener determines the water resistance of the lubricating grease. As a rule, different brands of lubricating grease cannot be mixed, and even lubricating greases of the same thickener will have adverse effects due to different additives. Fourth, when smoothing FAG bearings, is the more grease the better? When smoothing the FAG bearing, the more grease the better, this is a common misconception. Excessive grease in the FAG bearing and in the FAG bearing chamber will result in excessive agitation of the grease, followed by extremely high temperatures.
