How to ensure the service life of the bearing rollers: In order to ensure the long life of the bearing rollers, the oil lubrication method is more reliable than the grease lubrication method. As long as the oil is properly selected, well filtered, and the oil supply is appropriate, it is regularly inspected and replaced in time. , the point is to ensure that the film roughness ratio λ is greater than 1 and as close as possible to 4, the target can be achieved. Grease lubrication generally has the phenomenon of uneven oil film and lean oil. The lubricating performance is less stable than that of oil. At the same time, the life of the grease itself must be long, and the life of general grease is much lower than the fatigue life of rolling tapered bearing rollers in most cases. . Some foreign long-life greases, as long as a thin layer evenly adheres to the rolling surface of SKF tapered roller bearings, can work in parts such as boring machine spindles for more than 10 years and maintain excellent lubricating performance. Under better environmental conditions, with suitable seals, high-quality grease can also maintain lubrication for a long time. As long as the life of the tapered bearing rollers is not too long, it is possible to fill grease once and then do not need to add grease, but Caution should be exercised in this situation. The seal can prevent the loss of lubricant and the entry of dirt into the tapered bearing roller, so as to maintain the lubrication and cleanliness of the tapered bearing roller and help to achieve a long life, but the simplicity of the sealing structure, the cost, and the effectiveness of the seal must also be considered.
