The codes for all FAG super-precision bearings used in machine tool spindles are uniform. In addition to the bearing type, the markings on the bearing also contain the following important information: Bore tolerance of the inner and outer rings Bearing width direction of assembly, marked on the outer surface of the outer ring precise fit. To ensure optimum bearing performance, this code information helps reduce inventory management costs. Marking of the contact angle on single-row bearings The direction of the contact angle is marked by an arrow on the outer surface of the bearing outer ring. The open end of the arrow faces the ribbed end of the outer ring. Markings and Names of Bearing Pairs Paired bearings consist of bearings with matching inner and outer diameters. The first letter represents the number of matched bearings. D 2 Bearing Matches Double T 3 Bearing Matches Triple Q 4 Bearing Matches Quadruple Ready-to-fit bearing sets are fixed in the order of the bearings. The second (or third) letter indicates the bearing arrangement within the bearing set: B Back-to-back arrangement F Face-to-face arrangement T Tandem arrangement BT 2 or 3 bearings arranged in parallel with another bearing in back-to-back arrangement FT 2 or The three bearings are arranged in series and form a face-to-face arrangement with another bearing. The overall installation direction of the ready-to-install bearing is indicated by a large arrow on the entire bearing group, and the bearings are arranged according to the direction of the arrow. The second letter in the name of the universal matching bearing is U. The bearings of the universal bearing set can be arranged arbitrarily without performance loss. Therefore, the single bearing outer ring of the universal matching bearing does not need to be marked for installation, only the direction of the contact angle is marked.
