How to cool the hot CNC lathe spindle bearing?

The shaft parts of CNC lathes, especially the main shaft, are generally integrated with rolling bearings and sliding bearings, and rotate at a high speed, sometimes generating high heat. How to cool the spindle bearing of CNC lathe and make the machine run normally is a problem we need to pay attention to. If the heating condition is not cleared immediately, it will cause the bearing to overheat and overheat, and the temperature of the corresponding part of the spindle bearing of the CNC lathe will rise and cause thermal deformation. It will affect its own precision and machining accuracy, and will damage the spindle bearing of the CNC lathe. The main reasons for the overheating of the spindle are mainly summarized as follows: too small spindle bearing clearance increases the sliding friction force and frictional heat; in the long-term full-load turning, the rigidity of the spindle is reduced, resulting in bending, and the transmission system is unstable and hot. When troubleshooting this common fault, pay attention to: adjust the spindle bearing clearance of the CNC lathe to make it suitable; control the supply of lubricating grease reasonably, clear the oil pipeline; try to reduce the long-term load of the CNC lathe. Based on many years of practical experience, the key countermeasures to reduce the calorific value of the bearing are: (1) Moderately reduce the diameter of the rolling element. Reducing the diameter of the rolling element can weaken the centrifugal force and gyroscopic moment, thereby reducing friction and calorific value. (2) Use new materials. For example, ceramic materials are used as rolling elements. Compared with ceramic ball bearings and steel ball angular contact ball bearings, when rotating rapidly, the rolling and rolling friction between the steel ball and the raceway is reduced, and the calorific value is reduced. (3) Select an effective and reasonable moisturizing method. Lubrication methods such as oil and gas and oil mist not only have lubricating effects on bearings, but also have a certain cooling effect.
