Angular contact ball bearings are a relatively common bearing used in lathe spindle bearings. Sanli teaches you to use simple methods and common tools to test whether the accuracy of lathe spindle bearings meets the national standards. The tools used are: Lever Dial indicator, magnetic gauge base, 3 pieces of 100mm long standard block, 1 piece of marble plate, 1 piece of parallel fast track of 100X100X20. Clean the flat plate, 6 end faces of 3 standard blocks, the bottom edge of the magnetic gauge seat, and the upper and lower sides of the parallel surface block, and distribute the standard blocks on the flat plate at 120°. The seat is stuck to the parallel surface block, and the head of the lever dial gauge is hit upward on the end face of the bearing outer ring, so that the head of the lever dial gauge is pressed down by 0 to 0.4mm, and the reading of the dial gauge is read and recorded. Gently push the parallel block with the magnetic gauge base to move inward to the end face of the bearing inner hole, read and record the readings of the dial indicator, and calculate two sets of reading errors X, that is, the end face with a large reading is lower than the end face with a small reading by X. For example, the reading of the dial gauge head on the outer end face is 0.14mm, and the reading on the inner ring end face is 0, which means that the inner ring end face is 0.14mm lower than the outer ring end face. Then, in reverse, the position of the bearing remains unchanged, press the head of the lever dial gauge downward against the end face of the outer ring of the lathe spindle bearing and press the head down by 0 to 0.4mm, read the reading of the dial gauge and record it. Then move to the end face of the inner ring to read the reading of the dial indicator and record it, measure and calculate the error Y of the two sets of readings, that is, the end face with a larger reading is higher Y than the end face with a smaller reading. Use the above process to symmetrically measure 4 points on the circle. The smaller the difference in the measured values, the higher the precision of the bearing.
