How to Extend the Service Life of High Sulfur Alloy Bearings
Just by listening to the name of the high-sulfur alloy bearing, it is a type of bearing made of high-sulfur alloy steel.
High-sulfur alloy steel has advantages in strength, hardness and impact resistance. High-sulfur alloy steel can be used in parts that are easy to wear in mechanical equipment, and its friction coefficient is greater than 0.004.
Various parts made of high-sulfur alloy steel can not only protect the surface of the friction body, but also greatly improve the friction resistance of the friction pair. The unevenness of the surface is filled and leveled, so that the relative motion of friction changes from the friction generated by the original mutual occlusion to basically no occlusion, and because the high-sulfur alloy steel material itself contains a large number of high-temperature resistant compounds in the atomic state, the friction surface is immediately in operation. A large amount of high temperature resistant bonding solid compound is applied, thereby substantially avoiding galling.
High-sulfur alloy steel can be guaranteed to be used at a high temperature of 950 degrees Celsius, without lubricating oil or lubricant, and can be used in rotating parts with a line speed of less than 18 meters per second.

1. Use and install carefully. Re-stamping is prohibited. The hammer cannot hit the self-lubricating bearing directly. Pressure transmission through the rolling elements is not permitted.
2. Allowable temperature. Under normal load, high temperature resistance and sufficient lubrication. Under normal circumstances, the bearing is allowed to work under the ambient temperature of -30℃-150℃.
3. Keep high-sulfur alloy bearings and their surroundings clean. Even invisible dust particles entering the bearing can cause wear, vibration and noise. Bearings and their surrounding accessories should be kept clean, especially dust and dirt, tools and working environment must be kept clean.
4. Use the correct installation tools, special tools whenever possible, and try to avoid things like cloth and primary fabrics.
5. Speed u200bu200ballowed. Under normal circumstances, a speed of 0.2 times is appropriate. The manufacturer of high-sulfur alloy bearings recommends that 0.3-0.5 times the rotational speed be allowed under the condition of correct installation and good lubrication.
6. Prevent bearing corrosion. When the bearing is taken directly by hand, the sweat on the hands should be thoroughly washed, and high-quality mineral oil should be applied before operation, especially in the rainy season and summer, pay attention to rust prevention.
7. Allowable inclination angle. Generally, high sulfur alloy bearings are not allowed to incline the shaft relative to the housing hole. If there is an inclination, it should not exceed 2 degrees.
In the application of high-sulfur alloy bearings, it is possible to reduce the failure rate of high-sulfur alloy bearings and prolong their service life by adopting correct usage specifications and doing routine maintenance and maintenance.
