Installation and Accuracy of FAG Crossed Roller Bearings
by:JNSN2022-03-20
There should be no burrs on the seat hole or edge of the mounting peripheral structural member of the FAG crossed roller bearing. The support surface must be clean. The relevant mating surfaces in contact with the bearing need to be wiped with oil or grease. Lightly lubricate the threaded holes with oil to prevent excessive friction (do not lubricate bolts that need to be secured with adhesive). Make sure all adjacent parts and lubrication holes are free of cleaning agents, solvents and cleaning lotions. The surface of the housing may be rusted or the raceways may be contaminated. The installation force can only pass through the ring to be installed, not through the rolling elements or seals. Avoid hitting the inner and outer rings of the bearing directly. When installing the ferrule, keep the movement continuity and do not add any external force. The inner ring of the bearing must be fastened together with locking bolts during installation and transportation. During installation, these bolts need to be loosened to ensure that the FAG bearing is not preloaded by them. In order to facilitate installation and disassembly, there is an inner ring with three threaded through holes for hoisting. Inspection Operation Once the bearing is installed, the installation of the RBC crossed roller bearing must be inspected. If the bearing does not run smoothly, or the temperature rise is abnormal, remove the bearing and install it again according to the installation method. Accuracy Running accuracy based on DIN 620-2 and DIN 620-3 The accuracy range is better than P4, see table. Other dimensions are manufactured to precision P5. Metric Bearings Tolerances for inner and outer rings of metric bearings: see table.
