Installation of bearing components with eccentric fixing ring
When installing the bearing on the shaft with an eccentric fixing ring, the eccentric part of the outer diameter surface of the inner ring of the bearing and the eccentric recess provided on the eccentric fixing ring are combined, the eccentric fixing ring is rotated, and the set screw of the eccentric fixing ring is tightened. Fix the bearing on the shaft. The torque of the shaft can increase the fastening force of the eccentric fixing ring and the shaft, so the assembly with the eccentric fixing ring can ensure the reliable fixing of the bearing (Figure 14.9). Mounted rolling bearing with eccentric retaining ring The installation process of a mounted rolling bearing with eccentric retaining ring is shown below. (1) Check whether the rigidity of the base, the flatness of the mounting surface, and the dimensional tolerance of the shaft are qualified. In addition, check whether the shaft is bent, scratched, burr, etc. (2) Insert the seated bearing into the shaft and place it in the desired position. (3) Set the bearing with seat at the predetermined position of the base and fix it with bolts. Use a torque wrench to tighten the mounting bolts of the bearing box with the specified torque. Please refer to Appendix 3 at the end of the volume for the mounting torque of the mounting bolts. (4) Insert the eccentric recess of the eccentric fixing ring into the eccentric part of the inner ring of the bearing, rotate the eccentric fixing ring in the direction of shaft rotation and fix it on the inner ring of the bearing, and then tighten the set screw of the eccentric fixing ring with the specified torque (Figure 14.10) ). For the tightening torque of the set screw, please refer to Appendix 4 at the end of the volume. (5) After turning the shaft by hand, fix the eccentric fixing ring of the bearing on the other side to the bearing, and then tighten the stop screw of the eccentric fixing ring with the specified torque. (6) Finally, turn the shaft by hand to confirm whether the rotation state of the bearing is abnormal.
