Insert bearing SA model is an eccentric locking collar spherical outer ring insert series for mounted bearing housings. It’s made from high quality bearing steel and recommended for light duty applications. For this series, there are two types available, spherical (SA) and cylindrical (CSA).

The SA insert has a spherical OD which allows it to self-align when mounted in various types of mounted bearing housings. The SA insert bearing has a flush back face which makes it ideal for positions where space is limited. It features a metal-faced rubber seal which keeps lubricant in while keeping contaminants out. The seal is crimped in place on the entire circumference of the outer ring. Additionally, this style insert is commonly used in pressed steel housings without grease fittings.

The SA insert bearings sometimes has suffix G in the model number, the G suffix version of the insert bearing has the same features and benefits of the SA insert. Additionally it is able to be regreased. This style has grease access hole(s) in the outer ring. It features an anti-rotation pin as it is primarily used in cast iron housing applications that have a grease fitting standard.

Application

The bearings are used in agriculture machines, conveyors, construction, food and beverage processing, packaging, textile and many other industrial applications.
