Bearing unit with eccentric outer ring is different from bearing unit DML, bearing unit DMLE has thick-walled eccentric outer ring, Figure 6. It can only withstand radial forces. This printing press bearing is generally used for position adjustment when the cylinder is installed. Rotating the eccentric outer ring can change the center distance between the rollers. In order to make it easier to adjust the bearing outer ring tightly with the wall plate hole, the outer ring of the bearing unit DMLE can also provide a hydraulic oil interface. Other characteristics are consistent with the bearing unit DML. Design The inner ring of the bearing has two designs of tapered bore and cylindrical bore. In addition to serving as a centering surface with adjacent parts, the outer ring also has lubrication holes and mounting holes. The bearing unit has two, three or four rows of rolling elements. Internal clearance Internal clearance is specifically defined by the Schaeffler Group. The bearing unit can run smoothly in a light preloaded state or with a small clearance according to the requirements of the printing press. Even in the pre-tensioned state, the rotating inner ring can move reliably relative to the outer ring (such as applied to the plate cylinder). The seal provides an open or integrated seal design. Lubrication is suitable for oil or grease lubrication, and can be relubricated through the lubrication hole of the outer ring. The bearing of the printing machine with the cage with ribs to guide the cylindrical roller has a plastic cage, a steel cage or a brass cage. The bearing unit has an eccentric intermediate ring. This is a three-ring bearing. Unlike the bearing unit DMLE, the eccentric ring is also supported by rolling elements, Figure 7. Therefore, this printing press bearing is very suitable for frequently moving cylinders, such as the clutch pressing function of blanket cylinders. The swing angle of the swing bearing is usually less than 35°, and it is mainly subjected to static load. Compared with the traditional technology based on eccentric sliding bearing sleeve, it has the following advantages: No risk of seizure. Continuously low friction torque. No play. No wear. Excellent reliability proved by practice. Maintenance-free. The design bearing unit DML3E is a ready-to-install unit and provides a very economical solution. The bearing unit has two, three or four rows of rolling elements. The seal provides an open or integrated seal design. Swing bearings are usually sealed on both sides. The lubricated swing bearing is maintenance-free and is filled with optimized grease for this specific working condition as a standard. The inner ring cylindrical roller bearing is suitable for oil or grease lubrication and can be relubricated through the lubrication hole of the outer ring. The bearing of the printing machine with the cage with ribs to guide the cylindrical roller has a plastic cage, a steel cage or a brass cage. Swing bearings are usually designed for full complement rollers. When there are special requirements, a cage design can also be provided. The bearing unit with eccentric intermediate ring and outer ring except for the design of the outer ring, this type is the same as the printing machine bearing DML3E. The bearing unit DML3D has an eccentric outer ring, Figure 8. The inner eccentric is generally used to realize the clutch pressure function, while the outer eccentric is used to adjust the initial position of the roller during installation or radial adjustment during operation. In order to make it easier to adjust the bearing outer ring tightly with the wall plate hole, the outer ring of the bearing unit DMLE can also provide a hydraulic oil interface. If the application allows a small fit gap, this eccentric arrangement can also meet other functions, such as the diagonal adjustment of the printing plate cylinder (inclined version). The design bearing unit DML3D is a ready-to-install unit and provides an economical solution. The bearing unit has two, three or four rows of rolling elements. The seal provides an open or integrated seal design. Swing bearings are usually sealed on both sides. The lubricated swing bearing is maintenance-free and is filled with optimized grease for this specific working condition as a standard. The inner ring cylindrical roller bearing is suitable for oil or grease lubrication and can be relubricated through the lubrication hole of the outer ring. The inner ring cylindrical roller bearing with ribs to guide the rolling elements has a plastic cage, a steel cage or a brass cage. The friction is very low and the temperature rise is small under high-speed operation. The swing bearing is usually a full complement design. When there are special requirements, a cage design can also be provided. The bearing unit with two eccentric intermediate rings is different from the bearing unit DML3D. In addition to the eccentric ring supported by two rolling elements, the printing machine bearing DMLD also has a thin-walled outer ring, as shown in Figure 9. The four-ring bearing realizes eccentric adjustment with low friction, zero clearance and extremely high reliability. The bearing unit can be tightly matched with the wall plate hole to achieve absolutely zero clearance. This kind of bearing is usually used for roller clutch pressure function and precision fine-tuning (diagonal adjustment or paper thickness adjustment). In principle, the design of the bearing is consistent with the characteristics of the DML3E and DML types described above. The design bearing has a concentric inner ring, two eccentric middle rings and a concentric outer ring. The bearing unit has two, three or four rows of rolling elements. The seal provides an open or integrated seal design. Swing bearings are usually sealed on both sides. The lubricated swing bearing is maintenance-free and is filled with optimized grease for this specific working condition as a standard. The inner ring cylindrical roller bearing is suitable for oil or grease lubrication and can be relubricated through the lubrication hole of the inner eccentric ring. The inner ring cylindrical roller bearing with ribs to guide the rolling elements has a plastic cage, a steel cage or a brass cage. The friction is very low and the temperature rise is small under high-speed operation. The swing bearing is usually a full complement design. When there are special requirements, a cage design can also be provided. The allowable skew angle of the design and safety guidelines In printing machinery applications, the inner ring usually has to withstand a skew with an angle of less than 1 relative to the outer ring. Within this range, there is no significant reduction in bearing life. Shaft and housing bore tolerances For recommended shaft and housing bore tolerances of cylindrical bore bearings, see the table on page 39. Axial positioning In order to prevent the bearing ring from moving axially, it must be positioned by force or physical locking. The adjacent shoulders (shaft and bearing seat) should be high enough and perpendicular to the bearing axis.
