The female thread rod ends joint bearing GIR...DO series is made up of a radial spherical plain bearing GE...DO (S) or GE..DO 2RS and rod body, and the rod body has left or right-hand female thread.

For this series, the inner ring surfaces are made of phosphated, hardened, antifriction bearing steel, and the sliding surfaces are coated with MoS2. The outer ring is also made of bearing steel, which is hardened, ground and phosphated. Outer ring is split for assembly of inner ring. Regarding to the housing, it’s made of steel, all sizes galvanized and chormatised. The spherical bearing is pressed into the housing and caulked at both sides. Additionally, size 6 to 12 is without lubricating nipple.

Rod ends GIR...DO series requiring maintenance comprise a housing with integral shank and a spherical plain bearing requiring maintenance. The shank has an internal thread, the spherical plain bearing is firmly seated and located in the housing. The rod ends are available in open designs and in designs sealed on both sides. The housings and shanks are protected against corrosion by a zinc coating.

Rod end bearings are generally used in a wide variety of applications such as recreational vehicles, agricultural equipment, construction equipment and many other high performance machines.
