The self aligning bearing 1300 series is a kind of double row bearing equipped with a spherical ball between the inner ring of the two raceways and the outer ring of the spherical raceway. The center of curvature of the outer raceway surface is identical to the center of the bearing, so it has the same self-aligning function as the self-aligning ball bearing. When the shaft and outer casing are deflected, they can be adjusted automatically without increasing the bearing load.

The outer ring of 1300 series self-aligning ball bearing has a spherical raceway and its center of curvature coincides with that of the bearing, therefore, the axis of the inner ring, balls and cage can deflect to some extent around the bearing center. This type is recommended when alignment of the shaft and housing is difficult and when the shaft may bend. Since the contact angle is small, the axial load capacity is low. As for the cages, a steel stamping cage, a polyamide forming cage or a copper alloy cage is all available for the self-aligning ball bearing.

Application

Self-aligning ball bearings are suitable for bearing heavy and shock loads, precision instruments, low-noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles, metallurgy, rolling mills, mining, petroleum, papermaking, cement, sugar pressing and other industries and general machinery.
