Double row spherical roller bearings 23200 series are self-aligning roller bearings and can absorb both radial and axial forces. The angle of double row spherical bearings is also adjustable. These bearings have solid outer rings with concave, ball-shaped races. The solid inner rings have ribs and can have a conical or cylindrical bore. The barrel-shaped rollers are guided in a cage. Thanks to the ball-shaped race of the outer ring, it can align itself in relation to the symmetrical spherical rollers. Misalignments and shaft deflections can be compensated as a result.

23200 series spherical roller bearings have two rows of rollers, a common sphered outer ring raceway and two inner ring raceways inclined at an angle to the bearing axis. The centre point of the sphere in the outer ring raceway is at the bearing axis. Therefore, the bearings are self-aligning and insensitive to misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing, which can be caused, for example, by shaft deflection. Spherical roller bearings are designed to accommodate heavy radial loads, as well as heavy axial loads in both directions.

Application

Spherical roller bearings are used in heavy stationary industrial conveyor systems, paper manufacturing equipment, gear boxes, continuous casters, rolling mill pinion stands, table rollers,crushers, shaker screens, railroad axle journals ,and printing cylinders etc.
