The thick-walled outer ring tapered roller bearing is a ready-to-use double-row bearing unit that can withstand axial and radial forces, Figure 4. Design the integral thick-walled outer ring with mounting holes. Since the outer ring is very thick, the bearing can be directly mounted on the wall plate. No additional bearing seat is required. Internal clearance Internal clearance is specifically defined by the Schaeffler Group. The preloaded tapered roller bearing TBS has zero clearance after installation and has high radial and axial rigidity. Therefore, it is very suitable as a positioning bearing that does not move the cylinder, such as the transfer cylinder of a sheet-fed offset printing machine. The seal provides an open or integrated seal design. Lubrication This bearing can be relubricated through the lubrication hole in the outer ring. Paired tapered roller bearings Single-row tapered roller bearings are usually paired with O-shaped precision through intermediate spacer rings, as shown in Figure 5. In this way, the axial clearance tolerance of this kind of bearing is very small. Usually, a bearing seat is required.
