The cylindrical roller thrust bearing 81200 series is a particular type of roller bearing. Single direction metric size 81200 series are designed to carry axial loads in one direction with no radial load carrying capacity. The 81200 series comprise of a shaft washer with inside diameter slightly smaller than the housing washer, a housing washer with outside diameter slightly larger than the shaft washer, and a roller and cage assembly. For this series, shaft washer, housing washer, cylindrical roller and cage thrust assembly can be mounted separately.

Cylindrical thrust roller bearings consist of small cylindrical rollers arranged flat with their axes pointing to the axis of the bearing. They give very good carrying capacity and are cheap, but tend to wear due to the differences in radial speed and friction which is higher than with ball bearings.

The single direction cylindrical roller thrust bearing 81200 type is available in brass cage, steel cage and resin cage. The user can choose the appropriate one according to the bearing operating conditions.

Application

The bearings are suitable for oil drilling machine, metal producing equipment, injection moulding machines, industrial transmissions, machine tools and high-pressure pumps etc.
