The measured values differ depending on the operating conditions of the bearing or the installation position of the sensor. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze and compare the measured values of each machine in advance to determine the judgment standard. Let's take a look at the effect of temperature on bearings. A high temperature often indicates that the bearing is in an abnormal condition. High temperatures are also detrimental to the lubricants of koyo bearings. Sometimes bearing overheating can be attributed to the lubricant of the bearing. If the bearing is continuously rotated for a long time at a temperature exceeding 125°C, the bearing life will be reduced. Causes of high temperature bearings include: insufficient or excessive lubrication, lubricants. Contains impurities, excessive load, bearing damage, insufficient clearance, and high friction caused by oil seals, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously monitor the bearing temperature, whether it is measuring the cylindrical roller bearing itself or other important parts. If the operating conditions remain unchanged, any temperature change may indicate a malfunction. Regular measurement of bearing temperature can be carried out with the help of a thermometer, such as a digital thermometer, which can accurately measure the bearing temperature and display it in units of °C or Fahrenheit. The important bearing means that when it is damaged, it will cause the downtime of the equipment, so it is best to install a temperature detector on this type of bearing. In order to maintain the original state of the koyo bearing in a good state for as long as possible, maintenance and inspection are required to prevent accidents, ensure the reliability of operation, and improve productivity and economy. Maintenance should preferably be carried out on a regular basis according to the operating standards corresponding to the operating conditions of the machine. The contents include monitoring the operating status, replenishing or replacing lubricants, and regular disassembly inspections. (1) Inspection of the koyo bearing in the running state. Inspection of the rotating noise, vibration, and temperature, inspection of the properties of the lubricant, and judgment of the replenishment or replacement time of the lubricant. (2) Maintenance of koyo bearings When performing regular maintenance and replacement of machinery, fully observe the removed bearings, check the condition of the track surface and whether it is damaged, and whether it can be reused. However, since the operating conditions of the bearing and the measurement position are different, it is necessary to use the measurement value of the machine to determine the criterion. (3) The temperature of the koyo bearing The bearing temperature usually rises slowly after the operation starts, and reaches a saturation state after a period of time. The steady-state temperature of the bearing varies with mechanical heat capacity, heat release, rotational speed and load. If the bearing temperature rises abnormally before reaching saturation, stop the operation and take necessary countermeasures in consideration of the causes shown on the following page. (4) Lubrication It is effective to investigate the grease and lubricating oil in use to understand the running condition of the bearing. Of course, the leakage, discoloration and deterioration of grease or oil can be judged from the moisture, sundries, iron powder, etc. contained therein.
