Various Features of FAG C Series Single Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings

by:JNSN     2022-04-02
Features of C series single row deep groove ball bearings FAG deep groove ball bearings are inseparable bearings composed of solid inner and outer rings, cages and steel balls, and are widely used. They are simple in design, reliable in operation and easy to maintain, and are available in both open and sealed designs. Due to the geometry of the raceways and the use of steel balls as rolling elements, deep groove ball bearings can withstand axial and radial loads in both directions. The biggest feature of C series deep groove ball bearings is low noise and low friction. They are particularly suitable for use in equipment such as motors, air conditioners, washing machines and power tools. Advantages C series deep groove ball bearings have many advantages due to design changes, such as improved bearing kinematics, new seal and cage structure, improved processing technology, etc. Higher quality steel balls with lower noise level, optimized raceway surfaces, cages with higher stability and improved internal structure reduce the running noise of the bearings. Improvement of the seal The innovative gap seal design (suffix Z) effectively prevents the entry of external dust and the leakage of internal grease. The contact seal (suffix HRS or ELS) is in axial contact with the inner ring, and the labyrinth function formed with the groove of the inner and outer rings enables the bearing to achieve a better sealing effect during operation, page 5, Figure 1 and . The optimization of low friction raceway fit, the improvement of raceway surface quality, waviness and roundness, etc., reduce the friction inside the bearing. Higher cost performance Due to reduced friction, energy consumption during operation is also reduced. Better protection and reduced grease shear stress reduce grease consumption and extend grease and bearing life. Sealed open bearings are suitable for high and very high speeds. Due to the standardized machining process, the ferrules are machined with grooves for sealing rings and dust caps, Figure 1, page 5. Suffix 2Z designates bearing with gap seals on both sides, page 5, fig. 1 . Filled with high-quality grease, these bearings are maintenance-free and suitable for high speeds. This new dust cover design improves sealing performance compared to traditional gap seals. The suffix 2HRS or 2ELS indicates that the bearing has contact seals made of nitrile rubber on both sides, Figures 1 and . These bearings are filled with high-quality grease, are maintenance-free and are suitable for medium speeds. When the bearing is running, this type of seal can achieve higher rotational speeds than radial contact seals. At the same time, the bearing has lower friction and heat generation. The suffix 2BRS indicates that the bearing has non-contact seals made of nitrile rubber on both sides. They have the same low friction level as gap seals. But they are better at preventing the entry of external dust and the leakage of internal grease, Figure 1. Operating temperature is limited by seal material, see page 6, Operating Temperature section. HRS seals are the standard design for contact sealed C series deep groove ball bearings. ELS seals are also available by agreement.
