Bearing corrosion is very common and it will reduce the service life of the bearing. So everyone must pay attention to this problem in their daily work.
The determination of the causes and prevention methods of high temperature bearing corrosion first depends on what causes the high temperature cylindrical roller bearing corrosion, which is generally divided into external and internal causes. To sum up, there are mainly:
1. Metal surface finish (battery corrosion due to oxygen concentration difference).
2. The chemical composition and structure of the metal material itself.
3. The composition and pH value of the solution in contact with the metal surface.
4. Ambient temperature and humidity.
5. Various environmental media in contact with metal surfaces.
6. In addition, human sweat is also the cause of bearing corrosion, and its pH value is 5~6. Therefore, in order to prevent corrosion caused by hand sweat, installation and production personnel should wear gloves and do not touch high-temperature bearings with their hands.
1. Soaking method: Some small high-temperature bearings are immersed in anti-rust grease, and the thickness of the oil film can be achieved by controlling the temperature or viscosity of the anti-rust grease. A method of adhering a layer of anti-rust grease to its surface.
2. Brushing method: When brushing, pay attention to evenly apply it on the surface of the high-temperature bearing, do not produce accumulation, and also pay attention to prevent leakage of coating.
3. Spraying method: Some large-scale anti-rust objects are not suitable for oiling by immersion method. Generally, filter compressed air with a pressure of about 0.7Mpa is used to spray in clean air. The spray method is suitable for solvent-diluted anti-rust oil or thin-layer anti-rust oil. This method must adopt perfect fire prevention and labor protection measures.
