As long as the joint bearings include: angular contact joint bearings, thrust joint bearings, centripetal joint bearings, and stalk end joint bearings. The classification of spherical joint bearings is mainly based on the direction of the load it can bear, the nominal contact angle and the structural type.

What are the characteristics of radial joint bearings


(1) GE...E type has a single outer ring and no lubricating oil groove. Capable of bearing radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.


(2) GE…ES type single slit outer ring, with lubricating oil groove. Capable of bearing radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.


(3) GE...ES-2RS type single-slit outer ring, with lubricating oil groove, and sealing rings on both sides. Capable of bearing radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.


(4) GEEW…ES-2RS type single-slit outer ring, with lubricating oil groove, and sealing rings on both sides. Capable of bearing radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.


(5) GE...ESN type single-slit outer ring, with lubricating oil groove, and outer ring with stop groove. Capable of bearing radial loads and small axial loads in either direction. However, when the axial load is borne by the snap ring, its ability to withstand axial load is reduced.


(6) GE...XSN type double-slit outer ring (split outer ring), with lubricating oil groove, and outer ring with stop groove. Capable of bearing radial loads and small axial loads in either direction. However, when the axial load is borne by the snap ring, its ability to withstand axial load is reduced.


(7) GE…HS type The inner ring has a lubricating oil groove, and the outer ring is double-half, and the clearance can be adjusted after wear. Capable of bearing radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.


(8) GE...DE1 type The inner ring is made of hardened bearing steel, and the outer ring is made of bearing steel. The inner ring is extruded during assembly and has lubricating oil grooves and oil holes. Bearings with an inner diameter of less than 15mm have no lubricating oil grooves and oil holes. Capable of bearing radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.


(9) GE...DEM1 type The inner ring is made of hardened bearing steel, and the outer ring is made of bearing steel. The inner ring is extruded during assembly, and after the bearing is installed in the custom bearing seat, an end groove is pressed on the outer ring to fix the bearing axially. Capable of bearing radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.


(10) GE...DS type The outer ring has assembly grooves and lubrication grooves. Only for large size bearings. It can bear radial load and small axial load in any direction (one side of the mounting groove cannot bear axial load).


Performance of angular contact spherical plain bearings


GAC…S type The inner and outer rings are made of hardened bearing steel, and the outer ring has oil grooves and oil holes. It can bear radial load and axial (joint) load in one direction.


Features of thrust spherical plain bearings


GX…S type The shaft ring and seat ring are made of hardened bearing steel; the seat ring has oil grooves and oil holes. It can bear axial load or joint load in one direction (at this time, the radial load value shall not be greater than 0.5 times of the axial load value).
