Whether the bearing is installed correctly affects the accuracy, life and performance of the bearing, especially the vibrating screen bearing. Therefore, the installation of vibrating screen bearings should be fully studied.
Items of work standards are usually as follows:
(1), clean the bearing and bearing related parts
(2), check the size and finishing of related parts
(4) Inspection after the bearing is installed
(5), supply lubricant
Only open the custom bearing packaging just before installation. General grease lubrication, no cleaning, direct filling with grease. Lubricating oil does not need to be cleaned in general. However, instruments or high-speed bearings should be cleaned with clean oil to remove the rust inhibitor coated on the bearings. Bearings with rust inhibitor removed are prone to rust, so they cannot be left for too long.
The installation method of the bearing varies depending on the bearing structure, fit and conditions. Since most of the shafts rotate, the inner ring needs an interference fit. Cylindrical roller bearings are usually pressed in by a press, or by a shrink-fit method. In the case of a tapered hole, install it directly on the tapered shaft, or install it with a sleeve.
When installing to the shell, there is generally a lot of clearance fit, and the outer ring has an interference amount, which is usually pressed in by a press, or there is a method of shrink fit after cooling. When dry ice is used as a coolant and shrink fit is used for installation, moisture in the air will condense on the surface of the wholesale bearing. Therefore, appropriate anti-rust measures are required.
Installation of cylindrical bore bearing of vibrating screen:
(1) Method of pressing with a press
Small bearings are widely used in the press-fit method. Put the spacer into the inner ring, and press the inner ring with a press until it is in close contact with the shaft shoulder.
When operating, it is best to apply oil on the mating surface in advance. If you have to use a hammer for installation, place a pad on the inner ring. This approach is limited to the use of small interference, and cannot be used for large or medium and large bearings.
For non-separable bearings such as deep groove ball bearings, where both the inner ring and the outer ring need to be installed with interference, use a spacer to pad it, and use a screw or oil pressure to press the inner ring and the periphery at the same time. The outer ring of the self-aligning ball bearing is easy to tilt, even if it is not an interference fit, it is best to install it with a pad.
For separable bearings such as cylinder roller bearings and tapered roller bearings, the inner and outer rings can be installed on the shaft and the outer casing respectively. Close the two so that the center of the two does not deviate. Pressing them in hard will cause the raceway surface to get stuck.
(2) Method of hot loading
Large vibrating screen bearings require a lot of force when pressing in, so it is difficult to press in. Therefore, the shrink-fit method in which the bearing is heated in oil to expand and then mounted on the shaft is widely used. Using this method, the job can be completed in a short time without adding undue force to the bearing.
2. Installation of tapered bore bearings
The tapered bore bearing is to fix the inner ring directly on the tapered shaft, or install it on the cylindrical shaft with an adapter sleeve and a dismantling sleeve. The large-scale self-aligning bearing of the vibrating screen is installed by hydraulic pressure.
3. Operation check
After the installation of the vibrating screen bearing is completed, in order to check whether the installation is correct, a running inspection should be carried out, and the small machine can be rotated by hand to confirm whether the rotation is smooth. Inspection items include sluggish operation caused by foreign objects, scars and indentations, uneven rotation torque caused by poor installation and poor processing of the mounting seat, large torque caused by too small clearance, installation error, sealing friction, etc. .
Since large machinery cannot be rotated manually, immediately turn off the power after starting without load, perform inertial operation, check whether there is vibration, sound, whether the rotating parts are in contact, etc., and enter the power operation after confirming that there is no abnormality. For power operation, start at low speed with no load and gradually increase to rated operation under specified conditions. The inspection items during the test run are whether there is abnormal noise, transfer of bearing temperature, leakage of lubricant and discoloration, etc.
The temperature inspection of the vibrating screen bearing is generally inferred from the appearance of the shell. However, it is more accurate to directly measure the temperature of the outer ring of the bearing by using the oil hole. The temperature of the bearing starts to rise gradually, if there is no abnormality, it usually stabilizes after 1 to 2 hours. If the bearing or mounting is defective, the bearing temperature will rise sharply. In the case of high-speed rotation, wrong selection of the bearing lubrication method is also the cause.
