For tapered bore bearings, the inner ring is always installed with an interference fit. Unlike cylindrical bore bearings, the interference of tapered bore bearings is not determined by the selected shaft fit tolerance, but by the advancing distance of the bearing on the tapered journal, bushing or withdrawal sleeve. The radial internal clearance of the bearing decreases as the bearing advances on the tapered journal. Before starting the installation, a little oil should be added to the surface of the journal and sleeve.  Large and medium-sized bearings   The installation force required for large bearings is significantly increased, and hydraulic nuts and/or oil injection methods should be used.   The above two methods can significantly simplify the installation process. The oil injection equipment required to operate the hydraulic nut and use the oil injection method is supplied. When using hydraulic nuts to install the bearing, it must be positioned on the threaded part of the journal or the thread of the sleeve, so that the annular piston is close to the inner ring of the bearing, the nut on the shaft or the retaining ring installed on the shaft end. The oil is pressed into the hydraulic nut through the oil pump, and the piston is moved in the axial direction with the force required for safe and precise installation. This oil film separates the mating surfaces and significantly reduces the friction between the mating surfaces. This method is generally used when directly installing the bearing on the tapered journal, but it is also used to install the bearing on the adapter sleeve and push-off sleeve prepared for the oil injection method. The oil pump or oil injector generates the necessary pressure and injects the oil between the mating surfaces through the groove and the oil distribution channel on the shaft or sleeve. When designing the bearing layout, the necessary grooves and channels must be considered on the shaft. The spherical roller bearing is installed on the withdrawal sleeve with an oil groove, and the withdrawal sleeve is pressed into the bearing hole by injecting oil into the mating surface and tightening the screws in turn.
