Bearing unit with eccentric outer ring Unlike bearing unit DML, bearing unit DMLE has a thick-walled eccentric outer ring, Figure 6. Can only withstand radial forces. This type of printing press bearing is generally used for position adjustment when the cylinder is installed. Rotating the eccentric outer ring can change the center distance between the rollers. To make it easier to fine-tune the bearing outer ring in a tight fit with the wall plate hole, the bearing unit DMLE outer ring can also be provided with a hydraulic oil connection. Other characteristics are identical to bearing unit DML. Design The inner ring of the bearing has two designs of tapered hole and cylindrical hole. In addition to serving as an alignment surface with adjacent parts, the outer ring has lubrication holes and mounting holes. Bearing units have two, three or four rows of rolling elements. Internal clearance Internal clearance is specifically defined by the Schaeffler Group. The bearing unit can run smoothly with light preload or with small clearance according to the needs of the printing press. Reliable axial movement of the rotating inner ring relative to the outer ring even under preload (eg for plate cylinders). Seals are available in open or integrated seal designs. Lubrication is suitable for oil or grease lubrication and can be relubricated through the lubrication hole in the outer ring. Cages for printing presses with rib-guided cylindrical rollers are available in plastic cages, steel cages or brass cages. Bearing unit with eccentric intermediate ring This is a three ring bearing. Unlike the bearing unit DMLE, the eccentric ring is also supported by the rolling elements, Figure 7. Therefore, this printing press bearing is very suitable for frequently moving cylinders, such as the clutch pressure function of blanket cylinders. The swing angle of the swing bearing is usually less than 35, and it mainly bears the static load. Design bearing units DML3E are ready-to-install units and offer a very economical solution. Bearing units have two, three or four rows of rolling elements. Seals are available in open or integrated seal designs. Swing bearings are usually sealed on both sides. Lubricated swing bearings are maintenance-free and are filled as standard with an optimized grease for this specific operating condition. Inner ring cylindrical roller bearings are suitable for oil or grease lubrication and can be relubricated through the lubrication holes in the outer ring. Cages for printing presses with rib-guided cylindrical rollers are available in plastic cages, steel cages or brass cages. Swivel bearings are usually of full complement roller design. When there are special requirements, the design with cage can also be provided. Bearing unit with eccentric intermediate ring and outer ring Except for the design of the outer ring, this type is the same as the printing press bearing DML3E. The bearing unit DML3D has an eccentric outer ring, fig. The inner eccentricity is generally used to realize the clutch pressure function, while the outer eccentricity is used for the initial position adjustment when the drum is installed or radial adjustment during operation. To make it easier to fine-tune the bearing outer ring with a tight fit in the wall plate hole, the outer ring of the bearing unit DMLE can also be provided with a hydraulic oil connection. This eccentric arrangement can also fulfill other functions, such as diagonal adjustment of the plate cylinder (oblique-pull version), if the application allows for a small fit clearance. Designing bearing units DML3D is a ready-to-install unit that offers an economical solution. Bearing units have two, three or four rows of rolling elements. Seals are available in open or integrated seal designs. Swing bearings are usually sealed on both sides. Lubricated swing bearings are maintenance-free and are filled as standard with an optimized grease for this specific operating condition. Inner ring cylindrical roller bearings are suitable for oil or grease lubrication and can be relubricated through the lubrication holes in the outer ring. The cage has ribs to guide the rolling elements. The inner ring cylindrical roller bearing has a plastic cage, a steel cage or a brass cage. The friction is very low and the temperature rise is small at high speed. Swing bearings are usually full complement designs. When there are special requirements, the design with cage can also be provided. The bearing unit has two eccentric intermediate rings. Unlike the bearing unit DML3D, the printing press bearing DMLD has a thin-walled outer ring in addition to two eccentric rings supported by rolling elements, Figure 9. The four-ring bearing realizes eccentric adjustment with low friction, zero clearance and extremely high reliability. The bearing unit can be tightly fitted with the wall plate hole to achieve absolutely zero clearance. This type of bearing is usually used for roller clutch press function and fine adjustment (diagonal adjustment or paper thickness adjustment). The design of the bearing is in principle consistent with the characteristics of the DML3E and DML types described earlier. Design bearings have a concentric inner ring, two eccentric intermediate rings and a concentric outer ring. Bearing units have two, three or four rows of rolling elements. Seals are available in open or integrated seal designs. Swing bearings are usually sealed on both sides. Lubricated swing bearings are maintenance-free and are filled as standard with an optimized grease for this specific operating condition. Inner ring cylindrical roller bearings are suitable for oil or grease lubrication and can be relubricated through the lubrication holes of the inner eccentric ring.
