When disassembling the bearing on the withdrawal sleeve, the axial locking device: lock nut, end cover, etc. must be removed. When disassembling small and medium-sized bearings, lock nuts and hook wrenches or impact wrenches can be used to loosen the bearings. The best way to remove large bearings is to use hydraulic nuts. If the threaded part of the shaft sleeve protrudes from the shaft end or shaft shoulder, a support ring should be inserted into the sleeve hole. The wall of the support ring should be as thick as possible to avoid deformation and damage of the thread when tightening the nut when using hydraulic pressure. It is recommended to add a barrier to the end of the hydraulic nut, for example through the shaft end. If the withdrawal sleeve is suddenly separated from its shaft seat, the stopper can be used to prevent the withdrawal sleeve and hydraulic nut from being completely unloaded from the shaft. Withdrawal sleeves used for large bearings are generally equipped with oil distribution pipe grooves in order to use the oil injection method, which greatly reduces the time required for installation and removal of large bearings.
