Whether the bearing is installed correctly will directly affect the accuracy, life and performance of the bearing during use. Therefore, the design and assembly department must fully study the bearing installation and proceed in accordance with the operating standards. In general grease lubrication, the bearing is not cleaned, and the grease is directly filled. In oil lubrication, it is generally not necessary to clean, but for instrument or high-speed bearings, clean oil should be used to remove the anti-rust agent coated on the bearings. Bearings with anti-rust agent removed are easy to rust, so they cannot be placed randomly.　　Furthermore, bearings that have been sealed with grease can be used directly without cleaning.　　The installation method of the bearing varies with the bearing structure, fit, and conditions. Since the shaft usually rotates, the inner ring needs an interference fit. Cylindrical bore bearings are usually pressed in by a press or hot-fitting method. In the case of a tapered hole, directly fix it on the tapered shaft or install it with an adapter sleeve.　　When installing to the bearing seat, the clearance fit is often used. When the outer ring has interference, it is usually pressed in with a press or the cold shrinkage method of installation after cooling is used. When dry ice is used as the coolant, the moisture in the air will condense on the surface of the bearing in the case of cold shrink installation. Therefore, anti-rust measures need to be taken.
